The reason we come to you

Showroom lighting lies.

A color that looks perfect under fluorescent tubes can look like a different product in your living room. Your paint, your window light and the furniture already sitting in the room all pull a floor one way or the other, and none of that exists in a showroom. So we skip the showroom and bring the floor to you. You see the real thing in the room it is going into, next to everything it has to live with.

1

Call or text us

Tell us what rooms you are thinking about and what is on the floor now. Takes two minutes, and you will talk to the people doing the work.

2

We come to you

Samples come to your house. You compare them in your own light, against your own walls, while we measure the rooms and flag anything tricky like stairs or transitions.

3

We install it right

Stretched, leveled, acclimated, and finished the way the manufacturer intended, by the same family business that sold it to you. One crew, one standard.

What floor are you looking for?

Carpet, LVP, LVT, and sheet vinyl. Sold and installed.

Wall-to-wall carpet installed in a Montgomery living room

Carpet, matched to the room it lives in

The right carpet depends on the room. Soft plush where comfort wins, twisted frieze where the family actually lives, tight loop pile for stairs and hallways that take a beating. We walk you through fiber choices in plain English, including the solution-dyed options that shrug off pet and kid messes.

  • Bedrooms: plush and saxony styles, soft underfoot and clean-looking
  • Living and family rooms: frieze and textured piles that hide traffic
  • Stairs and halls: dense low pile and loop styles built for wear

LVP & LVT that handle real life

Luxury vinyl plank gives you the hardwood look in long boards that make rooms feel bigger. Luxury vinyl tile does the same for stone and ceramic looks, laid plank by plank so patterns are possible. Both are built for kitchens, baths, and busy households. We will tell you the truth about waterproof versus water-resistant, help you pick the right wear layer for pets and kids, and install over a properly prepped subfloor so it stays flat for the long haul.

  • LVP: wood-look planks, rigid core, made for spill-prone rooms
  • LVT: stone and tile looks without the cold, hard ceramic
  • Done-right installs: leveling, acclimation, and expansion gaps, every time

Sheet vinyl, the unsung workhorse

Sheet vinyl comes in wide rolls, which means a small room can be floored with few seams or none at all. Fewer seams means fewer places for water to sneak underneath, which makes it a smart, budget-friendly pick for laundry rooms, baths, kitchens, and rentals. From classic checkerboard to modern looks, we cut and fit it clean.

  • Wet rooms: the fewest seams of any floor we install
  • Rentals and quick turnarounds: durable, easy to clean, easy on the budget
  • Classic style: patterns like checkerboard that never go out of date
Racks of carpet, vinyl plank and laminate sample boards from several mills

And more than the four above

Those four cover most houses, but they are not the whole rack. Waterproof laminate is already on the sample boards, and engineered hardwood, carpet tile, and bound area rugs or stair runners are a phone call away. We pull boards from several mills, so if you have seen a floor you like and do not know what it is called, describe it when you call and we will tell you straight whether we can get it.

  • Waterproof laminate: wood looks that handle spills, usually friendlier on the budget than plank
  • Engineered hardwood: a real wood wear layer over a stable core, which suits slab-on-grade houses better than solid
  • Carpet tile, bound rugs and stair runners: carpet cut and finished to the size you actually need
Commercial work

Not every floor we lay is in a house.

A gym and a church are pictured below, but those are two jobs, not the limit. A commercial floor brings its own problems no matter what the building is: a date that cannot move, a space that has to be usable again on Monday, a subfloor nobody has looked at since the place went up, and foot traffic that will chew through the wrong product inside a year. Those are the parts we work out before anything gets ordered.

  • Rated for the traffic. Commercial-grade carpet, glue-down plank, sheet goods and rubber, matched to what the room actually takes rather than what is cheapest that week.
  • Sequenced around your hours. Tell us when the space has to be open and we plan the order of work around it, zone by zone if that is what it takes.
  • One crew, start to finish. The people who measure and quote the job are the people who lay it, same as in a living room.

Our standard

The material is the easy part. A floor lasts or fails on everything that happens before the first board goes down.

Subfloor first

Checked for flat and dry before anything is laid. Soft spots and moisture get dealt with, not covered up and forgotten until the new floor telegraphs them back.

Power stretched

Carpet goes down with a power stretcher, not a knee kicker. That is the difference between a floor that stays tight and one that ripples by year three.

Room to move

Planks acclimated to the humidity in your house and expansion gaps left where central Alabama summers need them, so nothing buckles at the doorway in August.

Already have a floor that went wrong?

New installations are most of what we do, but we also fix floors that were not put down right the first time, including work another company did. Most of it traces back to a skipped step on install day rather than ruined material, which means it is usually fixable without replacing the whole floor.

“There’s nothing they can’t fix!”

  • Restretching. Ripples pulled flat without replacing the carpet.
  • Patching. Burns, stains and pet damage seamed in near-invisibly.
  • Plank rescue. Buckling, gaps and bad transitions corrected.

Straight answers

Questions homeowners actually ask.

Do you really come to my house with samples?

Yes. That is the whole point of our shop-at-home service. We bring samples to your living room so you can see colors in your own light, next to your own walls and furniture, and we measure the space on the same visit. No showroom trips, no guessing how a sample will look once it is home.

How long does a flooring installation take?

Carpet for an average room is often done in a few hours. Vinyl plank for a single room usually takes under a day, and a full main floor commonly takes a day or two. The honest answer for your home depends on room sizes, furniture, whether old flooring comes out first, and how much prep the subfloor needs, which is exactly what we figure out when we measure.

What does "mill direct" actually mean?

Most flooring passes through distributors before it reaches a store, and every stop adds markup. We buy carpet straight from the mills that make it, which also gives us access to first-quality overruns and discontinued-color lots the mills want moved. Fewer middlemen means better value on the same quality of carpet.

Can you install new flooring over what is already down?

Sometimes, and sometimes it is a bad idea. Vinyl plank can often go over an existing floor that is sound and flat, which saves the labor of tearing it out. Carpet is different, because the old carpet and pad have to come up. Anything soft, uneven, or water-damaged underneath has to come out first, or the new floor will telegraph every flaw beneath it. We check the subfloor when we measure and tell you straight which way your job should go.

Will my new floor hold up to pets and kids?

The right product will. For carpet, we point busy households to solution-dyed fibers, where the color is built into the strand itself so stains have nowhere to soak in. For vinyl plank, the thickness of the wear layer is what shrugs off claws and toy traffic, and we will show you the difference when we bring samples.

What about my furniture and the old flooring?

Every job is a little different, so we set that plan when we quote your project. Tell us what needs moving and what needs hauling away when you call, and the price we give you reflects the whole job, not just the material.

Ready when you are.

One call or text gets the samples headed to your living room. Family owned and operated, and picky about floors so you do not have to be.
